Is this entry itself a hoax? There was no Ringing World for Nov 18 1975 as that date was a Tuesday (or not depending on your diary).

However, two bell inscriptions have been published in the Ringing World requesting translation - ITI SAPIS POTAND ATI NONE and EDI TORIS ACRET IN
Nov-18-1975 A Mr Hugh Janus wrote to the Editor complaining about an earlier false peal of Sunshine Delight Maximus, rung by Nutbars. Not spotted until April 2003, when J Ketteringham raised doubts about the letter's authenticity.
