This is my first-ever edit, and only affects readability and suggests typo corrections. I also have a doubt about the use of the word "penultimate": in the example here we really need a word for "second from the beginning" instead of "second from the end", don't we? Maybe just "second"? Hope that I haven't (as a mere newbie) hurt anyone's feelings. I found the text really useful.
